Chopped on the Food Network

J.Pac Productions owner, Joe Paciotti recently had the honor of assisting an Emmy winning DP as a Key Camera PA with responsibilities of an AC & Grip for Season 43-46 of Chopped Bio Packs shot locally around the Philadelphia & Tristate Area. Chopped Bio Packs are the short segments at the beginning of each episode which introduces the contestants showing B-Roll of the contestant in their work place along with interviews.

If you haven't seen "Chopped" It is an American reality show which airs on the Food Network. Four chefs call on their culinary skills as they face off against one another to prepare a spectacular three-course meal consisting of an appetizer, entree and dessert. The catch? In each round, they have to use all the ingredients the show provides them, however unlikely they might be (Gummi Bears, anyone?). At the end of each course, a panel of three guest judges "chops" one chef who fails to measure up in terms of taste, presentation and creativity. The last chef standing takes home bragging rights and a cool $10,000. Hosted by Ted Allen

Look out for the new seasons of Chopped airing this year
& next year (2019-2020) on the Food Network
